About Wendy

I’m a content strategist, writer, and editor whose career has ranged from Capitol Hill journalist, to English teacher in Barcelona, to food writer in New York and Philadelphia.

As a content strategist, I enjoy bringing order and clarity to B2B and B2C marketing content for a wide variety of clients. My areas of expertise include food, drinks, luxury, healthcare, tech, lifestyle, hospitality, real estate, and public policy.

As the Philadelphia Editor of Zagat, I covered restaurant openings and trends and wrote features on celebrated chefs and rising stars. As a Book Editor at Food & Wine, I managed a team of writers, fact checkers, and copy editors to produce pocket wine guides.

My writing has appeared in publications like Food & Wine, Fast Company, The Atlantic, USA Today, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Edible Philly, and PhillyVoice. I was a regular contributor and recipe developer at Latina magazine for six years.

I have a degree in Government & International Studies and Spanish from the University of Notre Dame, and I’ve lived and studied in several U.S. and international cities. After attending culinary school in New York, I had a brief but thrilling kitchen stint at the legendary Eleven Madison Park restaurant.

Today you can find me in Center City Philadelphia, where I live with my husband, two kids, and our adorable cockapoo, Murray. When I’m not writing or planning my next meal, I teach kids cooking and nutrition for Vetri Community Partnership.
